Advantages & Disadvantages

  • Advantage of receiving percentage settlement: Chance for bigger payout!
  • Disadvantage of receiving percentage settlement: Personal injury cases take time so it could be years. The worst case scenario the attorney doesn’t win and no percentage is received. This is the risk you take knowing the amount you could get extra going the percentage route.
  • Advantage of getting paid upfront: Instant cash! Paid even if the attorney doesn’t win the case.
  • Disadvantage of getting paid upfront: No chance at getting a bigger piece of the pie. Some injury cases result in millions paid out to attorneys. I don’t think we need to break down the math to make you aware of what 5% of a million would be compared to $500 upfront. If you wanted to know, it is about $50,000 ;).

FAQs

  • Is this all legal and ethical?

Everything is 100% legal and ethical. In 2021, Arizona eliminated Ethical Rule 5.4 prohibiting sharing fees with a non-lawyer, and Ethical Rule 7.2(b) prohibiting giving “anything of value” to anyone for recommending a lawyer.

This means now you can get a percentage of the attorney's piece of the settlement or get paid upfront through Arizona Injury Watch.

  • Are all accident victims accepted?

We are specifically looking for injury victims who were not at fault and their injuries were caused by a third party. We take all accident claims and only pay out on the claims where the victim signs with our attorneys to represent them and becomes an official client.

  • How do you guarantee the attorneys are the BEST attorneys in Arizona?

We only work with the best attorneys. We vet all the attorneys we are partnered with and do quality checkups regularly with them to ensure all victims are taken care of with the best quality. If an attorney does not meet our standards, we simply do not work with them.

Many attorneys in Arizona are marketing mills. They take in as many cases as they can and farm out all of the work to other law firms. This process minimizes the quality the victim receives. It is hard to decipher what attorneys actually practice, but we assure all our partnered attorenys practice and will litigate the victim's case if need be to ensure you receive the highest settlement possible.

  • Does my percentage of the settlement take away from what the victim receives?

    Absolutely not!

Your percentage is coming directly from a percentage of what the attorney receives. In Arizona, on average an attorney will receive 33% of the total settlement of the victim’s case. This is because they work on a contingency fee meaning if they do not win the case, they do not get paid. If they do, they get the arrangement amount that was finalized with the victim before signing the attorney to represent them.

  • How can I track when I will get paid if I choose the percentage?

We will provide you with monthly updates about the case, but no specific client information will be shared.

These cases take six months minimum up to years. Anything more frequent would be a burden to you and our team. We will make sure to update you on every injury victim you refer.

  • What happens if I refer someone and then they refer someone?

Nothing. In the words of Michael Scott from The Office, “It's not a Pyramid scheme, it’s not even a scheme per se”...

That was a joke and if you never have watched The Office it probably went over your head, but really you will only get credit for those you refer into Arizona Injury Watch. You will get 2.5% of all the injury victims they refer.

Our goal is to expand our network to ultimately help victims get the BEST representation while assisting those who refer their friends, family, and other acquaintances to get value for their referrals.
